SPEED RUN NOTES

Win condition
Cross the finish line with enough followers to meet the level's final crowd requirement. What matters is the count you arrive with, so the round is won by keeping the group big at the end, not by grabbing the biggest single gate.
Fastest line
Read the gate two spots ahead, not just the one in front, and steer toward the lane that adds followers without steering you into a narrow squeeze or a wall. A moderate gate that leaves width beats a big gate the next obstacle wipes out.
Input language
Drag the mouse left or right, or slide one finger sideways on touch, to steer the crowd across the track. Forward movement runs itself, so your only input is the horizontal lane choice — there is no jump or speed button.
Opening play
In the first seconds, pick a side before the first gate and hold it; do not weave toward the biggest number on screen. Lock onto a lane that has a gate followed by open track, because early wobbling costs more followers than a small gate does.
Score signals
A clean run shows the crowd number climbing at each gate and holding steady through gaps. If the group visibly thins right after a gate, you picked a bonus that feeds into an obstacle; if the whole crowd clips a wall, you over-corrected your lane.
Recovery
If the crowd has shrunk below what you need, slow your steering to one lane change per gate and only take gates on the side with the most open track ahead. Stop chasing the largest number and let the smaller safe gates rebuild the group.
Player questions: Extreme Followers
How do I control Extreme Followers?
Drag the mouse left or right, or slide one finger sideways on touch, to steer the crowd across the track. Forward movement is automatic, so your only input is choosing the lane.
Should I always grab the gate with the biggest number?
No. Read the gate two spots ahead and take the lane that adds followers without steering into a squeeze or a wall. A moderate gate that leaves width beats a big bonus the next obstacle wipes out.
