SPEED RUN NOTES
Xcw speed-run notes
Win condition
Fill your carrying capacity, deliver the load to the collection zone, and keep buying upgrades until the current map area is unlocked. The loop repeats, so the round is won by how fast you cycle collect to deliver to upgrade, not by one big trip.
Fastest line
Find the densest cluster nearest the delivery zone and run a tight loop between them until it is empty. Upgrade the one thing that slows every loop — capacity if you are full before the drop, speed if the run itself drags — before opening a distant area.
Input language
Steer the character with drag, arrow or WASD keys, or the on-screen joystick; pickup is automatic when you roll over objects, so there is no grab button. Your whole input is the path you draw, so keep it straight between the cluster and the drop.
Opening play
On the first run, head straight for the closest cluster, fill up, and deliver immediately — do not explore the map. That first completed loop shows you which upgrade is the actual bottleneck for the next cycle.
Score signals
A good loop ends with a full inventory the moment you reach the drop zone and a quick spend. If you arrive half-empty or walk long stretches without collecting, your route is too long or the cluster is already drained — time to move or upgrade.
Recovery
If the loop stalls, shrink it to a single corner cluster and run it until empty before touching upgrades. Spend the takings on the cheapest capacity or speed upgrade that helps, then expand to the next cluster only when the current loop runs clean.
Player questions: Hoard Master Online
How do I control Hoard Master Online?
Steer with drag, arrow or WASD keys, or the on-screen joystick; pickup is automatic when you roll over objects, so there is no grab button. The path you steer between a cluster and the drop zone is the whole input.
Which upgrade should I buy first?
Buy the upgrade that removes the limit you hit on every loop — capacity if you are full before the drop, speed if the trip itself drags. Fix that one bottleneck before opening a distant area.
