King Bacon vs Vegans

King Bacon vs Vegans: knock each wave down with one timed tap per target and never spend a hit on the harmless crowd, so nothing slips past the line.

SPEED RUN NOTES

Xcw speed-run notes

01

Win condition

Clear every wave by knocking out each valid target before it reaches the line, and never spend a hit on the harmless bystander characters mixed into the crowd. The round is won when no threat slips past, not when you tap the most.

02

Fastest line

Learn which two character types are in the first wave — which one is a target and which is a bystander — then fire exactly once per target the moment it enters range. One measured tap per threat is faster than spam, because a wasted hit on a bystander leaves you recovering when the real one arrives.

03

Input language

Tap or click once to attack the object coming down your active lane; any lane switch or special ability is its own on-screen button. There is no drag or hold, so keep the cursor or finger parked over the lane that matters.

04

Opening play

On the very first wave, let one target enter range and count the beat between its appearance and your hit window. That single measured tap sets your rhythm, so do not pre-tap the empty lane.

05

Score signals

You are on pace when every target pops at roughly the same distance from the line and no bystander reacts. A miss or a hit on a bystander is the warning: if a target slides past or an innocent gets knocked back, you are tapping too early or too often.

06

Recovery

If the wave stacks up, stop tapping and clear only the closest target, ignoring everything else until it is gone, then move to the next closest. Slow your beat by one half-step and the line usually stops collapsing.

Player questions: King Bacon vs Vegans

How do I control King Bacon vs Vegans?

Tap or click once per incoming target, and use the on-screen button for any lane switch or special ability. There is no drag or hold — each object is resolved by a single press in the lane it is heading for.

Should I tap as fast as I can?

No. One deliberate tap per target beats a fast rhythm you cannot stop, because a wasted hit on a harmless bystander leaves you recovering when the real threat reaches the line. Match your taps to each target's arrival.
