Climber Jump

Climber Jump: time each leap to the center of the moving platform and land clean every time, so the climb never breaks on a missed hold.

SPEED RUN NOTES

Xcw speed-run notes

01

Win condition

Climb to the stage's required height by landing every jump on the next hold or platform without a single fall. The climb is a chain, so the round is won by keeping every landing alive, not by how high any one jump goes.

02

Fastest line

Time one jump to the position the next platform will occupy when you land, and aim for its center. A centered landing leaves a beat of time to set up the next jump, so you never need a desperate correction.

03

Input language

Tap, click, or press the shown direction control once to launch each jump; a short tap and a longer hold give different reach, so test both on the first gap. You do not steer in the air — the game handles the arc once you commit.

04

Opening play

Before the first jump, let the next platform drift through one full cycle to learn its speed, then launch as it swings toward you, not while it is moving away. Lead the platform, because undershooting the gap ends more runs than overshooting it.

05

Score signals

A clean climb feels like the climber lands near the center of each platform with the next one already in view. If you keep landing on the front or back edge, or the next platform drifts past you mid-air, your timing is a beat off and a fall is coming.

06

Recovery

If you keep falling on one gap, change a single variable: hold the jump a touch longer for extra height, or wait until you are at the very edge before tapping. Test that one change on the same gap before altering the whole rhythm.

Player questions: Climber Jump

How do I control Climber Jump?

Tap, click, or press the shown direction control once to launch each jump. A short tap and a longer hold give different reach, so test both on the first gap before committing to a rhythm.

Where should I aim on a moving platform?

Aim for the center of the position the platform will occupy when you land, not where it sits when you jump. A centered landing leaves a beat to set up the next jump and avoids the fall that edge landings cause.
