SPEED RUN NOTES
Xcw speed-run notes
Win condition
A shot wins when the line you draw carries the ball into the net without clipping a defender or the keeper. The goal is to finish the stroke in an uncovered corner, because clearing the wall matters more than how hard the strike travels.
Fastest line
Pick the corner the keeper is not covering before you draw, then keep the line as straight as that opening allows. A straight stroke into the exposed corner clears the wall in the fewest moves; extra bends only drag the ball back toward a defender.
Input language
Drag from the ball with a mouse or one finger to draw the strike path, then lift to fire. The stroke you trace is the route the ball follows, so aim the line through open space rather than sketching a decoration.
Opening play
On the first draw, spend it learning how much bend the game adds on its own. Start the stroke from the ball, aim for the keeper's exposed corner, and note where the ball curves after release, because that bend tells you how much to compensate on the next line.
Score signals
A clean goal with your line clearing the wall by a margin means the corner pick was right. The ball clipping a defender's edge or bending back into the middle are the failure signals, and they mean your line passed through the wall, not that you need more power.
Recovery
If the shot keeps dying on the wall, re-pick the corner the keeper has left and redraw from the ball straight to it. Strip out any added bends and lower the shot's pace to change its timing; a straight, softer line clears the wall faster than a fancy one.
Player questions: Fierce Shot
How do I control Fierce Shot?
Drag from the ball to draw the strike path, then lift your finger or pointer to fire. Keep the line straight until it clears the wall, and finish it in the corner the keeper is not covering.
Why does my shot keep hitting the wall?
The line is probably passing through a defender instead of ending in the open corner. Re-pick the keeper's exposed side, start the stroke from the ball, and finish straight into that space without extra bends.
