Win condition
The scene clears when the selected cat's requested care and interaction steps are done — feed, clean, play, or style as the scene asks. The win is the response, not the number of taps.
Fastest line
Act on the need the active indicator is showing, and apply exactly one matching item before waiting for the cat's reaction. A single correct response advances the scene; repeating a finished activity only costs a turn.
Input language
Tap items and characters to act, and drag food, toys, or care tools only when the scene shows they must be moved into position. Most care actions answer a single tap.
Opening play
First tap the cat you are serving so it becomes the active one, then read its need before grabbing a tool. The opening is select first, then serve — reaching for an item early wastes the turn on the wrong cat.
Score signals
A satisfied reaction — the cat responds and its need indicator clears — means the step landed. No reaction is the warning: the item you applied does not match the need still showing, so read that need again before the next tap.
Recovery
If the cat does not react, stop and check which cat is highlighted and which need it is showing, then match one item to that pair. Apply it once, watch for the response, and only then move on — a stall is fixed by correcting the match, not by tapping more.
